About IV & IM Therapy

What Is IV Therapy?

An IV drip is a bag of fluids that runs into a vein in your arm through a small, flexible tube. At Sacred Society, a registered nurse places the IV and checks in with you while it runs.

Each drip on our menu is a bag of fluids with the vitamins, minerals, or medications listed beside it, given through an IV by a registered nurse while you rest in a massage chair. Your nurse reviews your health intake and vitals before every session and will tell you if a drip is not right for you.

Browse the menu below to see what is in each drip, and ask your nurse if you would like help choosing.

The Process

How It Works

From your first screening call to the end of your visit, here's what to expect at every step.

  1. 01

    Screening & Intake

First-time guests receive a brief screening call to review health history and wellness goals. Upon arrival, complete a health intake form and vitals check (blood pressure, temperature, pulse oximetry). Our licensed nurse can help you choose a drip.

  2. 02

    Settle In

Relax in one of our massage chairs while your nurse prepares your IV with pharmaceutical-grade vitamins in our sterile preparation area. You're welcome to read, work, or enjoy a massage while you rest.

  3. 03

    Infusion

Your licensed registered nurse gently places the IV using sterile technique. The drip runs for 30 to 90 minutes while your nurse checks in with you throughout.

  4. 04

    Wrap Up

Your nurse removes the IV, checks in with you, and shares aftercare notes. Most guests return to their day right away.

First-time guests should arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake forms.

Sessions run 30 to 90 minutes depending on the drip.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about IV vitamin therapy

Most drips take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the drip and how quickly it runs for you. On a first visit, plan on a little extra time for your intake and vitals check.
Most guests describe a quick pinch, like having blood drawn. Your nurse can use a numbing spray if you like, and once the IV is in place you can settle into the chair.
That is up to you and your nurse. Some guests come monthly and others now and then. Your nurse reviews your health intake at every visit and will let you know if a drip is not a good fit.
Yes. Many guests pair an IV visit with red light therapy, a vibroacoustic session, or a class the same day. We can help you plan the timing.
Some guests notice a cool feeling in the arm as the fluid runs, and most simply rest. Everyone's experience is different. Results vary by individual.
Your nurse does, after your health intake and vitals check, under physician oversight. Tell us about any medications, supplements, allergies, or health conditions, and ask your healthcare provider if you are unsure whether IV therapy fits you.
Licensed registered nurses (RNs) under physician oversight, following Colorado healthcare regulations. Your nurse places the IV with sterile technique and checks in with you throughout the session.
We use pharmaceutical-grade vitamins from licensed compounding pharmacies. Vitamins that need refrigeration are kept in medical-grade refrigerators, and every vial is dated when it is opened and discarded on schedule.
Tell your nurse. Our team often works with needle-sensitive guests: we use small gauge needles, can use a numbing spray, and keep the lounge calm and quiet.
Normal saline, B complex vitamins, vitamin B12, vitamin C, Toradol (an NSAID), and Zofran (an antiemetic). Because it includes medications, your nurse reviews your health intake first and will suggest a different drip if these medications are not right for you.
A list of any medications and supplements you take, and clothing that leaves your arms easy to reach. We provide everything else.
